"As the wife of a 9/11 survivor I wish to see the Towers rebuilt as they were. This will greatly ease the void left in my husband’s heart when our precious towers were restored."
- Prudence Vignapiano, March 3, 2006

The Twin Towers represented America's symbols of Peace on Earth. They had deep meaning for many people across the United States and around the world. For some, they represented not only architectural achievement, but also a sense of identity, memory, and connection.

According to MSNBC and many nearly forgotten sources, the families and the wider community to this day wish that these twin architectural giants would rise again. The Twin Towers Alliance  - a community of families, friends, relatives and businesses who explicitly demand the need to rise the twins again - better, stronger and safer then ever before - was formed to send a message of hope and resilience. To paraphrase: "It is time to say to the adversaries that America will no longer be afraid or be intimidated of the past. America must stand up and be bold and strong, not resign itself to an inevitable decline and a perpetual sorrow by allowing the terrorists to win."

The World Technology Center acknowledges this legacy while introducing a new purpose — transforming the concept into a platform for science, technology, and global collaboration.

Rather than replicating the past, the project explores how architectural symbolism can evolve to reflect progress, resilience, and innovation in a modern context.
