"The twin towers should have been rebuilt from the start. Rebuilding them shows that we are not / can not be swayed by the terrorist cowards who attacked us. Rebuild them stronger and better and protect them, whatever the cost. It’s a middle finger to those who hate us."

Zachary Cestaro (21 April 2025)
"I’m signing once again to vouch for the Twins to be rebuilt and stronger as always. I have never forgotten about 9/11, and the best way to honor our fallen Police Officers and Firemen, along with the thousands of other heroes and victims gone way too soon. I pray to Christ these buildings are to be rebuilt, and the swindle is to be exposed. Thank you very much."

Julian Novoa (19 February 2025)
"I hope we can restore our beautiful skyline we once had. Us Americans deserve it, we need to show that if someone destroys something on our soil we’ll build it back bigger and better. My friend lost his dad who worked on the 63rd floor of the north tower and he even told me if the twin towers were back he would feel like it would give him the proper closure to his dads death. because if we rebuild that means we won. I would give my best to have this become a reality, if this plan goes forward, you’ll see me helping on the construction site to bring back this American dream. God Bless, stand strong USA!!!"

Felipe Andrade Oliveira (17 February 2025)
(translated from Portuguese)
"I would sincerely like to see the Twin Towers standing as they were before, but of course, with a much better structure, much reinforced and with much more security. When the attacks happened, I was a child, and I was only 5 or 6 years old…
It would be the best thing for the New York skyline to have the Twin Towers as part of the city again… If I were a billionaire, I would do everything possible to rebuild them along the original lines of the complex… The tributes would be an essential and fundamental part of the project… Even today, I think about how human beings can be so stupid as to destroy buildings the way they did, out of a totally distorted and wrong religious fanaticism… I want the Twin Towers back in NYC!"

David Alen (17 January 2025)
"All I hope is this new proposal succeeds so we can get our towers back."
Liam Gies (1 November 2024)
"The Twin Towers were more than just ordinary work skyscrapers, they were symbols. Symbols of American economic power, globalization, and prosperity. But, the day they were destroyed by terrorists, that was all gone. There is still hope though. Hope that we can rebuild the towers once again, and take back what the terrorists took from us. Thousands upon thousands would agree.
From supporter,
Liam Gies"

Jack Lee (19 September 2024)
"While I am Australian, the twin towers were America. They were so iconic and that is what made the NY skyline what it is.
Their reconstruction would be so symbolic as its a slap in the face towards terrorists and a general “You may knock us down but we will come back stronger”.
Please rebuild!"

Taber Wood (12 September 2024)
"Rebuilding the Twin Towers is a powerful symbol of our nation’s strength, resilience, and unwavering resolve in the face of terror. The attacks of 9/11 were meant to instill fear and weaken our spirit, but by restoring these iconic towers, we send a clear message to the world: America does not back down. We honor the lives lost by standing tall and showing that we will not be defined by destruction, but by our ability to rebuild, rise, and persevere. This is not just about rebuilding a structure—it’s about reaffirming our national identity, strength, and commitment to freedom."

Eric Casey (20 August 2024)
"National landmarks should not disappear!"

Michael Matthews (19 December 2019)
"Loved the original twin towers. I was in them my brother had a job interview there and a friend and cousin of mine was in the second plane flight 175.This means so much to me and my family to bringback the iconic world trade center."

Eve Burrus (12 September 2021)
"I have always been a believer of reincarnation. Recently, I did regression therapy and found out that I died in 9/11 in my past life. It was always so obvious, since I was one of those kids who knew about the event before it was taught to me. Being connected to this event, I feel like the new building didn’t do the victims justice. Instead, it presents itself like a bad joke. The only way to do 9/11 victims and their families justice is to rebuild the original towers and do the job right!

Eve Burrus (19 October 2015)
"My father used to work in the North Tower of the World Trade Center. I was born early in 2001, and visited the WTC complex as a baby. Growing up in NYC, the skyline became scarred. I would love to see the WTC be rebuilt so that people like me, survivors and families could relive the past in the future, and refresh the vibrant experience that the WTC provided."

Catherine Carter (6 September 2015)
"As a victim and survivor of 9/11 I would love to see another tower built"

Evan Christian (27 July 2015)
"The Twin Towers brought the NYC skyline to life, not only people died that day the lower part of Manhattan did too losing part of its iconic symbol. The only way to fully restore the NYC skyline and heal lower Manhattan is to build back the Twin Towers, we don’t need new we need the same but better. NYC will never be the same with One but fully restored with Two."
Joe McGonigle (31 August 2014)
"Put them back up because they had no business being taken down in the first place. If you accidentally knock over your glass of milk you dont refill it with soda put them back the way they were."

Victoria Thomas (29 December 2012)
"I just want to say that America was a great, and powerful nation that could do anything with those towers. But after Bin Laden destroyed the twin towers it tore this beautiful nation apart and 9/11 tore a huge hole right into the heart of America. 9/11 should have never have happened if Osama Bin Laden wasn’t even alive. My dad died in the 106th floor in the North tower. So yeah I would like to see 2 gorgeous towers instead of an huge hole. I would like to see America happy again. Two towers. Instead of crying to see my father’s name on the board. I want to see the towers again. And so does America. GOD BLESS AMERICA"

Ian K. (7 December 2011)
"I cant tell you how much it would mean to me to see those towers go back up. i know so many people who did not make it, and New York City has never been the same for me. every person i have talked to agrees with me that those towers belong in NYC’s skyline. i will never forget what i saw that day, and to have those towers back would mean the world."

Jean Munetones (12 September 2011)
"As a kid growing up in Jersey City, the image of the twin towers standing is everything to me. For 15 years I seen those towers day and nite so please rebuild it and restore the skyline to its glory. My father worked in those towers for years including 911 and spending time there with him were some of the greatest memories I have. Let others enjoy this just like I have. Rebuild them please!"

Lauren Cooper (8 April 2011)
"I would rather like the TwinTowers2 in a New York skyline than some modern building, which some people want to make New York modern, but i think it’s rather sick.. it’s what suites New York best, and the Twin Towers do that job perfectly!"

Steve Fisher (9 January 2011)
"I think we should rebuild the towers because the terrorists taking them from us and us not rebuilding them is almost like letting them win. We need to rebuild them and make them better than ever to show them America can overcome anything. God Bless America."

Jack Johnson (18 November 2010)
"Rebuild them, i want to take my children up to the skydeck again and show them the beautiful city of New York.

Taylor Brewer (26 August 2010)
"Please rebuild."

B Ocasio (3 August 2010)
"Please rebuild the Twin Towers."

Devin Browning (20 July 2010)
"I was on the 78 floor when the first plane comes in. I was helping people out when I herd a giant crash. I didn’t know that was a 2nd plane hiting tower 2. I helped a bunch of people out that day then me and some people herd a loud boom. I knew the south tower was comming down and we were almost there. We were to the lobby when the south tower came down. We were in gulfed in smoke. When the smoke cleared we ran out, I looked back then the north tower fell. Now all I have to say is I hope they rebiuld"

Laura Richardson (8 July 2010)
"I think it’s important to rebuild the twin towers to show the world and ourselves that we stick together and become stronger. The point of rebuilding the twin towers is to show the importance of remembering and not to forget. Remember the Alamo!"

Stelios Makrinos (5 March 2010)
"Only rebuilding a set of twin towers can properly do justice to all of the people affected in any way by the events on the 11th of September and the weeks, months, and years that have followed."

Luigi Martinez (19 February 2010)
"as can be left in oblivion the symbol of New York and not caring about the opinion of New Yorkers leaves a lot to say about these people"

Andrew Kernaghan (1 July 2007)
"My close family friend Jackie was killed in the towers please rebuild them as the should be! Not as politicians want them. I looked at those towers all of my adult life and they stood for an ideal that all poeple have inherent right to exist as it wishes and still do business with others who may disagree. A small group of people disagree with that concept and think only there way of life counts! we need to show them they are wrong!"

Teresa King (11 May 2006)
"My friend Don DiFranco of WABC-TV would want the Twin Towers rebuilt. He worked on the transmitter for the station and was proud of his accomplishments there.
REBUILD them and make them one floor higher like Donald Trump suggested!"

Mike Izady (19 April 2006)
"As a child I saw the World Trade towers going up. I was so awe stricken to see these two cities in the sky. I was also at the WTC when they were brought down. I want them back psychologically and as the standing symbol of defeat to the terrorists."

Mary-Frances Reilly (25 August 2010)
"I grew up in Throggs Neck (The Bronx), and from the end of my street you looked at that magnificent skyline. I agree, the terrorists win if we allow the most recognizable skyline in the world to be altered. In 1978 I lost 39 people I knew in an aircrash. I’m a Flight Attendant. There were 144 souls on board that day. On the “hollowed ground” where they all died now stands an inexpensive home. To this day we still leave flowers on their corner. Enough is enough. REBUILD OUR TOWERS!!!"

Ellis Lewington (20 April 2025)
"I was born nearly 7 years after 9/11, in England, and I have to say that I have never wanted to visit anywhere as much as the Twin Towers. Perhaps it is my taste in architecture, the sheer size of these buildings attracts me to them straight through my computer screen. To dine at the Windows on the World, sat eating 107 stories above the ground, looking out over Manhattan. I guess that feeling is one very hard to come by without the buildings to feel it in.
Think about what it symbolised! Not only international trade and more peaceful times-for many people, on a personal level, it represented those more simple days, pre-2008, before social media made so many people miserable.
Rebuild them. Make the NYC skyline iconic again."

Nicholas Careswell (24 December 2009)
"Im 14 years old, from the bronx and I clearly remember as a child visiting the wtc, and 9/11 put me in a state of extreme anger, my brother is in the us army and currently in the ny national guard and he loves the twin towers 2 design and everyone i mention it to loves it. After high school i plan on joining the army and fighting the THINGS that did this to us, with your help we will rebuild and be victorious!"

Paul Hupperdine (12 December 2016)
"We need the Twin Towers. The new tower, One WorldTrade Center, just does not do it justice. I can't even express the amount of sadness I have that thosebuildings aren't there anymore, and what's in their place is an eyesore, a modern contemporary-design skyscraper that completely ignores what madethe Twin Towers unique. Nothing like them has everexisted, they were a tribute to the time period inwhich they were built, and a symbol of America. NewYork, and America itself needs the Twin Towers back"

David Silverstein (18 April 2016)
"The Twin Towers were a symbol of America’s freedom, and were the heart of New York City. America wantsthem back. Freedom Tower is an impressive building, and it should be kept. It would look AMAZING with thetwin towers next to it. The buildings around freedomtower are ugly AF! My best friend died in this and Iknow that he would have wanted this."

Steven Leflore (24 October 2012)
"My uncle and grandfather died in those towers. My grandad adored those towers and bringing them back would make me feeel like I still have a piece of them here. Please rebuild"

Michael Teegarden (2 October 2010)
"My grandparents and sister died in that horrific dayinside the North and South Towers! Rebuild theTTII!!!!! It’s beautiful and breathtaking, somewhatbetter even than the original Twin Towers. Screw the FTower, rebuild the TTII!"

Thomas DeAngelo (6 May 2006)
"We lost my brother-in-law, FDNY Lt. Bill McGinn of Squad 18, Manhattan, in Tower 1. Bill was a Civil Engineer by background, and a student of the Towers since the 1993 bombing. He was also the first voice on tape to call this a terrorist attack.
Bill left a wife, 2 small children, and a large extended family. In his honor as a fireman, gentleman and engineer, and to all of those lost to other families, I hope to see the towers rebuilt."

Lorraine Corso (19 July 2010)
"I am a native New Yorker and I served in OIF 2004-2005.
I strongly believe we need to send a clear message tothe world that if you knock us down we will get backup again!
We are New York’s finest and we will not go outwithout a fight!
I would suggest that the towers be taller than beforewith a memorial on site."

Sara Lunini (17 November 2009
"We need those towers back! For my uncle andbrother who both died that day in the north andsouth towers, and my dad who barely made itout of the pentagon! Those beautiful buildingsneed to be seen by the new generation, and weall need them back!"

Jose Gonzalez (25 May 2009)
"I lost my cousin and dear friend in the 9/11 attacks. There is no doubt in my mind that he would’ve wantedthem back taller and stronger. It’s been said a milliontimes over but there is good reason for that…anything BUT the new and improved Twin Towersshows the terrorists (and the world) that we aren’tthe people we once were when this wonderful countrybegan.
Danny, you are always in our hearts and minds."

Ed Kohler (1 July 2007)
"By not rebuilding, it is showing the world how weakand petty Americans can be. They do not separate usfrom the elites, to them we are all the same. I still getchoked up as I pass that skyline almost everyday andsee an empty space. How dare theseelite/politicians/special intrest groups believe to know what is best. We have lost our will, the founding fathers and the greatest generation would be apalledat our apathy. This country has a severe case of ADD. Don’t let these murders be forgotten."

Carey Pierce (17 April 2006)
"Nothing will signal America’s resolve more thatrebuilding the twin towers stronger and one storytaller than the old towers. My brother, Dennis J Pierce, was killed after he entered Tower 2 to insure that hisco-workers left the building. They had been informedby PA that it would be safer to stay in the building. Itwasn’t. Now, we are told not to be audacious, to thinksmall and that that would be more fitting. It is not.The memory and the honor of those who died wouldbe best served by our emboldenment now. The twofloors that received the most direct impact of the twoairliners could be realistic museums in rebuilt towers.Families and friends, New Yorkers and Americans willbe best served by a bold rebuilding of the TWINTOWERS."

Victoria Mary Strong (24 April 2007)
"For 9/11 victims sake… build our twin towersnow! God knows it’s time & no other way tohonor 9/11 victims like my cousin John Charles Jenkins, friend FF Lincoln Quappe & tutor Jorge Morrone-Garcia. Terrorists took them down & we need to put them back up! Twin Towers are the only way to honor 9/11 victims. Anything less is a great dishonor to their memories. Stop the madness & make the twin towers your priority or forever holdyour peace. where there’s no twin towers, there’s no peace for their souls.:("

Darren Johnston (24 August 2012)
"The American security has tightened after those attacks on the World Trade Centers. Osama Bin Laden’s dead and his fellow men will not survive without him. This fight to rebuild the Twin Towersshould go ahead and shall go on for the people ofAmerica, tourists, and in memory of the familiesmostly. These new Towers are atrocious to thescenery of the Lower Manhattan Skyline. I can see it’sin memory of the families, and the people who diedbut just rebuild the twin towers because we could rethink to build it with security, safety and reassurance that these attacks will not happen again.Back in 2001 the security was loose, relaxed and not thought about. But today the world has become stronger and united over the years and become moresolid."

Katie Hinkox (31 August 2009)
"The Twin Towers are all I live for. I used to go to them once a week, just to stare at their amazing beauty. But one week i happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. I saw things that still haunt me, and the only thing that will ever really help me cope, is seeing the twin towers, standing tall, strong and proud. I have to beleive in my heart, I will be visiting the twin towers every week again. I just have to."

Jay Gerber (22 August 2009)
"It hurts forever when I seen and stood a block and half away from the attacks. To put up stronger towers would bring a light back in my heart and others. This is for us, not the government."

Amber Shepperd (28 May 2009)
"I would love to see the twin towers built back like they were. I think that there would be no bigger inspiration to Americans than to see how far we have come and no bigger smack in the face to the terrorists."

Laurel Persowich (18 April 2009)
"Too many people lost a loved one on September 11th and it’s not fair that they have to live with the horrible reminder that they are gone everyday by looking at the empty space in the New York skyline. I’m all for re-building the Twin Towers and the day that happens will be the happiest day of my life. *Bring on the Towers! Bring back the brothers. Bring back this world.*"

Gwen Anderson (18 April 2009)
"I am all for re-building the BEAUTIFUL TWIN TOWERS!!
God Bless each and every family member who lost a loved one in this terrible tragedy! This was indeed a sad day for all Americans and those across the world who have a heart!!!"

King Casiano (29 January 2009)
"I can’t believe there was no public debate about the WTC Site. Behind closed doors former Governor George Pataki allow Libeskind to build his horrible plan for the WTC Site. After the police got involved they chose the current plan that is being implemented. I am astonished that these politicians don’t listen to the victims or the citizens in regards to the rebuilding of the Twin Towers. What better way to say “F-You” to the terrorists by rebuilding the Twin Towers again? God bless America."

Barney Buckley (2 January 2009)
"Hello I just want to add that I sincerely hope that LMDC does the right for the people and the heart of America."

Dale Bachu (19 June 2008)
"My wife was in the towers when the first plane struck and thankfully made it out. We both feel very strongly about the towers being rebuilt, anything less would be a victory for 19 individuals and would basically be a 1700 ft white flag muddying our once beautiful skyline."

Taylor Smith (18 May 2008)
"Please rebuild, although I lost someone very close to me and I know I can never get them back, the towers should be rebuilt the way they were before! time goes on and we must carry on. a new tower with a new design says we have forgotten. But if we go with the old look, it says. we are strong and we carry on, through the ups and downs. we are one nation, for justice and all."

Sally Matthews (25 January 2008)
"These towers should have been built by now! Those middle easterners think we’ll never get them built and are laughing – saying it serves the infedels right!
So……Let’s get them up stronger and taller than before – and then ask God’s protection for the people who work within them."

Carolyn Taveras (15 November 2007)
"May those who died in the attack of Sept.11,2001 to be in God’s glory always and forever. I always remembered and will remember the World Trade Center as the heart of manhattan. It’s sad to remember the times of visting the twin towers, taking pictures and taking tours…I still believe the World Trade Center should be rebuilt again to keep our memories alive, to start new careers, and to feel more power no matter what happened…God bless America! R.I.P for those innocent lives. Love, Carolyn"

Carolyn Taveras (6 June 2006)
"1 WTC 71.
I was there on 9/11 at my desk when the first plane hit.
Walking up west side highway I thought “They will probably invite us all back in 20 years for opening day when they’re rebuilt.”
It was obvious to me that the Twin Towers would be rebuilt.
I would like the Twin Towers rebuilt. I would work there again."

Theresa Canellis (20 March 2006)
"As a former employee working in the upper floors of WTC 1, and a relative of one of the 9/11 survivors, I strongly feel the City needs to have the towers back as they were. Their beauty far surpasses any of the replacements presently proposed."

Wilbert Clark III (15 March 2007)
"As a Volunteer Firefighter I’d like to express my heartfelt sorrow to those that lost loved ones on 9/11. If there is one thing that I cannot stand it is those conspiracy theorists making claims. My heart and prayers go out to you all."

Wesley Kephart (28 August 2008)
"My sister was a firefighter at flight 93 where we live along with the rest of my family. I am the creator and 2nd administrator on the facebook group called rebuild the original world trade center towers. I proudly sign this petition with honor as a 9/11 expert myself. thank you to all who sign this petition and god bless america!"

Ilona English (1 July 2007)
"We must honor all the victims of 9/11 – those we knew and all those we didn’t know. BUILD THE TOWERS – make the statement to the terrorists – WE WILL REBUILD EXACTLY WHAT YOU TOOK AWAY FROM US."

William Shepherd (25 April 2006)
"I lost six good friends on 9/11, I want the towers back in memory to them."

Mrs. Tedi Lomeli S.L.P. (3 April 2006)
"I don’t allow the terrorists to take our liberty and freedoms. thousands of men and women have died over hundreds of years for our rights. the towers should be back the way they were, if not even a little taller. I would hope we are a strong country still and are not folding to socialist ways.

Preston Bloss (10 October 2009)
"Since 9/11, something was missing, not just from the physical landscape of Manhatten but in all of our minds and hearts. To rebuild the World Trade Center would be a healing to all of those who remembered it as it once was, to truly make it feel right and balanced. It would be the greatest show of American tenacity, durability and resilience that would make a city, a people and a nation whole, complete once again. Sounding out the message: We shall not, we cannot, be broken.
Rebuild the Twins!"
