  • New Year's Resolutions

Today, we kickstart the new year with our latest announcement and vision ahead: Our project’s founder, Raphael Chryslar, has visited the City of Chicago in December 2025. He had arranged a meeting with the planning representative - specifically the aldermen who have jurisdiction over the proposed site. The zone between S. Desplaines, W. Harrison, W. Taylor, and S. Canal streets, is governed by both the 25 and 28th wards. Chryslar conversed with the staff and shared our website, technical drawings and general information with them. Byron Sigho-López and his associates expressed interest in our proposal, including brief remarks at how the complex would have the potential to draw talent and STEM businesses to the city, in addition to boosting government and private-sector revenues. He has subsequently passed on our information and idea to the 28th ward alderman (Jason C. Ervin) as well as the other planning teams at City Hall and the mayor. We have secured direct contacts and they have requested our team to keep in touch internally as the project evolves. In addition, Byron had advised our founder to also consider our alternate list of cities (detailed on our website) in addition to providing them our press kit and environmental and logistical strategy in detail as soon as it is published. In addition, Chryslar also visited CBS studios just opposite City Hall and shared the website with one of the journalists. While we keep his name confidential at this time, Chryslar has been briefed on an opportunity for an interview upon the publication of our comprehensive press kit and documentary. Therefore, our goals for 2026 are to first conduct an extensive literature review on these three fields: Tenants that may be interested in moving to the World Tech Center, National and international investment banks and firms that may be interested in funding our proposal, Research on what economic and science problems the WTC can offer to solve, Next, the development of the press kit and documentary will cover the aforementioned topics in addition to our backstory, history, sitemap, and the value proposition. We aim to publish these by May/June 2026. Assuming everything progresses closely to plan, we may secure our slot for formal news unveiling no earlier than late June 2026, in time for the 4th of July celebrations - the United States Semiquincentennial or America250.

  • Laboratory and Workshop/Office interiors

As the year draws to a close, our next batch of renders reveal what our laboratory and office space inside the World Tech Center towers may look like. An example floorplan has been published under our specifications page. It shows the layout of workspace amenities and the perimeter safety corridor with fire doors. This batch (among the subsequent general overview render) are the final renders to be made this year, in preparation for our upcoming showcase documentary and press kit materials about our vision in early 2026.

  • Elevation drawings

In the past week, new external and structural elevations (general type) have been produced, which feature the surrounding buildings and the two magnificent towers. The first one has been published under our "technical specifications' section (under "The Vision" button), with more drawings to follow in the coming days. • Our Tribute message

In tribute to the events of 9/11 on this day 24 years ago, our flag atop the spire is lowered at half-mast. In addition, the World Tech Center (when built) will be closed on September 11 to only essential personnel. The Twin Towers Alliance has provided more than 9,100 statements from families and the wider community whom to this day express their wish to see these American symbols rebuilt - better, stronger, and safer. All statements have been compiled as PDFs and can be viewed on our website under the community support section.

  • Signatures compilaton projected finish date

After almost two months of effort, the compilation of nearly 10,000 signatures from the Twin Towers Alliance is projected to be completed by September 12.

  • Full heights revealed!

The first preliminary render of the World Tech Center Twin Towers in full-height with antenna. The first renders of the Twin Towers together with antenna-spire in full-height have been published. The next phase is to get all the surrounding laboratory and leisure buildings designed and modeled, decorative greenery and fountains, and of course getting the Chicago skyline in the background (instead of the stock desert already present in the software). It should probably take another month to produce and this would be revealed in early October. The FEA analysis (which was delayed by three weeks) has been resumed and would be revealed soon.

  • Lobby design revealed

Our first render of the magnificent cathederal-like lobby of the World Tech Center's Twin Towers. Its modern elegence builds upon the design of the legacy World Trade Center with blue and white marble focus. A multi-colored marble and granite mosaic of the Periodic Table stands above the seating area. At the heart of the core is a vertical llluminated panel - which means 'light the way to new fronts in science and tech'. Brushed stainless steel column accents, soft warm-whte LED strip lights, and a wooden ceiling (inspired from Japanese interior design) completes the design in giving the lobby its signature welcoming and spacious environment to draw talented people together for one goal: the advancement of STEM!

  • Early-access website launch

Dear visitors: we are still currently adding content to this new website and thus will take some time to fully add everything. As it is being worked on by two people (including Mr. Chryslar who has a day job at an aerospace company), he anticipates that all menu pages will be fully completed and up-to-date by the end of July 2025. The website is available at present in 'early access mode' as all security checks and search engine optimization is not a quick process (it typicall takes up to a month). In the meantime, please refer to our Facebook page for updates, on www.facebook.com/ChicagoWTC Thank you.
