Our TEAM

The World Technology Center is a non-profit, philanthropically driven initiative — a growing network of collaborators and supporters across industry and academia worldwide.

As we advance towards official status as a 501(c)(3) organization, we'd like to introduce the people doing the work.

Deputy Architectural Designer

Biography

A two-time recipient of the Award of Excellence in architecture for two conceptual projects rooted in his own community: “Tokyo Vertical — Marine & Sky” and the “Akita Heritage Center.”

A senior student at Makuhari Junior and Senior High School in Japan, he has served as an Ambassador at the Hiroshima Junior International Forum and founded the design studio Ohm Studios. His work spans interior and exterior design of the campus buildings, landscape design, graphics and media — and he narrates our forthcoming documentary.

Background

Founder and CEO of Wrice Financial Group in Chicago. Since joining in late spring 2026, he outlines and refines our financial and economic strategy, our reporting, and the proposition we put to institutions.

His dedication ensures that our value proposition and risk analysis are honest and grounded.

Façade engineering

and CFD simulations

Biography

A graduate façade engineer consulting on building physics and fire suppression. He is defining the smart building systems across the campus, from fire suppression to environmental efficiency and sustainability targets — including transparent photovoltaics integrated into the towers’ windows.

Taffazal also carries out Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations on wind effects (both ground level and sway motion).

Background

A Master of Engineering graduate in Aerospace with years of industry experience across a variety of software packages: CATIA V5, Creo, Ansys, LS-DYNA, MATLAB and STAR-CCM+. His work covers structural finite element analysis and wind dynamics studies.

Kenneth Gardner

Structural Engineer and Architectural Advisor

Background

Based in New Jersey, Kenneth is a structural engineer, architectural assistant and musician — and the inspiration behind this initiative. He worked at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in the 1980s, and in 2005 presented Twin Towers II alongside architect Herbert Belton, who had been a supporting architect on the original World Trade Center in the 1960s.

He joined us in late March 2026, contributing to structural design and offering indispensable guidance on our value proposition, including the case for residential space within both towers.

Background

A UK-based aerospace engineer, Master of Engineering graduate from the University of Hertfordshire, and an AIT (Assembly, Integration and Testing) engineer in spacecraft manufacturing.

He is responsible for the campus master concept and the structural design of the twin towers, working across CATIA V5, AutoCAD and SketchUp. Carrying aerospace practice and systems thinking into architecture has meant self-directed study in BIM and masterplanning, an approach he credits to a neurodivergent mindset and the autodidacticism and hyper-focus that come with it.

His fascination with the Twin Towers silhouette dates to childhood, alongside a lifelong interest in engineering and industrial history. Beyond the initiative he is a steel mill enthusiast, industrial photographer, STEM author, educator, and an artist working in fine art, drawing and graphic design.
